This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application (“App”) and website (“Site”).Information We Collect:
We may collect the following types of information depending on how you use GoalExecution:· Account Information: name, email address, account credentials, profile information, and account settings.· Goal Information: goal titles, descriptions, goal types, dates, locations, target amounts, rules, participants, roles, offline participant counts, invitations, progress, and other goal details.· Financial & Transaction Data: contributions, expenses, payment instructions, budget categories, budget estimates, target amounts, planned amounts, recorded payments, and other financial information you enter in the App. GoalExecution does not directly collect or store your full payment card information.· Tasks, Polls, Messages, and Calendar Information: tasks, assignments, due dates, reminders, polls, votes, messages, manual calendar events, goal dates, deadlines, and related activity.· Planning Hub Content: notes, links, images, files, receipts, screenshots, vendor details, ideas, tags, attachments, file names, file types, file sizes, and related metadata you choose to add or upload.· Calendar Feed Information: calendar feed status, calendar feed links or tokens, goal calendar items included in a feed, creation date, last accessed date, access counts, and related technical metadata.· AI-Assisted Feature Data: information used to generate AI-assisted suggestions, such as goal details, budget categories, target amounts, dates, locations, expected member counts, offline participant counts, existing tasks, existing budget information, and generated AI suggestions. We may also collect and store cached AI recommendations, usage counts, timestamps, model or prompt version metadata, and related information used to provide and manage AI features.· Purchase and Entitlement Information: product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, renewal status, expiration dates, refund status, purchase history metadata, App Store server notification data, and information needed to verify purchases and unlock paid features.· Usage Data: device information, log data, app activity, feature usage, analytics events, diagnostics, crash reports, performance data, loading times, and error information.· Optional Information: contacts, files, images, receipts, notes, links, or other information you choose to upload, enter, or share through the App.How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
· Provide, maintain, operate, and improve the App and Site.· Create, manage, organize, and share goals.· Facilitate group planning, financial tracking, budget management, tasks, polls, messages, calendar items, notes, files, and reminders.· Generate AI-assisted suggestions, including budget suggestions, premium budget options, task suggestions, planning recommendations, and category explanations.· Cache or save generated recommendations so they can load faster, be reused, and avoid unnecessary regeneration.· Enforce free and paid feature limits, including limits for goals, members, AI suggestions, Planning Hub notes, attachments, and other app features.· Process, verify, restore, and manage purchases, subscriptions, Goal Pass access, GoalExecution Plus access, entitlements, renewals, expirations, refunds, and related account status.· Provide calendar feeds, exports, notifications, reminders, invitations, and shared goal summaries.· Diagnose bugs, improve performance, prevent abuse, protect security, and maintain the integrity of the App and Site.· Send you updates, notifications, support messages, administrative messages, or information about your account, goals, purchases, or app activity.· Comply with legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, security, and App Store obligations.How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information in the following ways:· With Goal Participants: Information added to a shared goal may be visible to other participants in that goal, depending on their role and access. This may include goal details, budgets, tasks, polls, notes, files, calendar items, payment instructions, messages, rules, exports, and other shared planning content.· With Service Providers: We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate the App and Site, such as hosting providers, cloud storage providers, analytics providers, authentication providers, notification services, crash reporting tools, AI service providers, and payment verification services.· With Apple and App Store Services: Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We may receive and process purchase-related information from Apple to verify transactions, manage subscriptions, unlock paid features, process refunds, and maintain entitlement status.· With Third-Party Calendar Apps: If you create or share a Calendar Feed link, third-party calendar apps or anyone with the link may be able to access the calendar information included in that feed.· For Legal, Compliance, and Safety Purposes: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, regulation, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or property of GoalExecution, our users, or others.· With Your Consent: We may share information when you direct us to do so or explicitly agree to share information, such as when you invite others to a goal, share an export, create a calendar feed, upload content, or participate in group activity.AI Processing:
When you use AI-assisted features, information from your goal may be processed to generate suggestions. This may include goal details such as the title, description, goal type, dates, budget categories, target amount, location, expected member count, offline participant count, and other relevant planning context.
We may use third-party AI service providers to help generate suggestions. We do not intend for users to include sensitive personal information in AI prompts, goal descriptions, notes, messages, or budget details. You should avoid entering sensitive information into AI-assisted features unless you are comfortable with that information being processed to provide the service.
AI-generated suggestions may be stored in GoalExecution so that you and eligible goal participants can view, reuse, apply, or regenerate them later. For example, we may store a cached AI budget recommendation for a goal so it can load faster the next time the budget feature is opened.Purchases, Subscriptions, and EntitlementsPurchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card information.We may receive purchase-related information from Apple, including product identifiers, transaction identifiers, subscription status, expiration dates, renewal status, refund status, and App Store server notification data. We use this information to verify purchases, unlock paid features, maintain subscription status, restore purchases where applicable, prevent fraud or abuse, enforce usage limits, and provide customer support.Calendar Feed LinksIf you create a calendar feed, the feed link may allow anyone with the link to view certain goal calendar information. Calendar feed links should be treated like shared links. If you share the link with others, they may be able to access the calendar information included in the feed.
You may be able to disable or regenerate the calendar feed link in the App. Third-party calendar apps may store or cache subscribed calendar information according to their own policies and refresh schedules.Files, Images, and AttachmentsIf you upload files, images, receipts, screenshots, or other attachments, we may store the uploaded content and related metadata, such as file name, file type, file size, upload date, creator, and the goal or note it belongs to. Goal participants with appropriate access may be able to view attachments added to a shared goal.You should not upload sensitive documents, private information, or content you do not have permission to share.NotificationsIf you enable notifications, we may use your information to send push notifications, reminders, alerts, updates, and other messages related to your goals, tasks, polls, calendar items, purchases, account activity, and app usage. You can manage notification settings through the App or your device settings.Data RetentionWe retain your information as long as necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, support shared goals, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, and improve the App and Site.Some information may remain available to other goal participants after you edit, delete, leave, or lose access to a goal, depending on the nature of the content and the functionality of the App. We may retain backups, logs, transaction records, entitlement records, and security records for a reasonable period.Your RightsDepending on your location, you may have rights to access, update, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. We cannot guarantee absolute security.You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for controlling what information you add to shared goals, calendar feeds, exports, notes, files, and messages.Children’s PrivacyGoalExecution is intended for users who are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International UsersIf you access GoalExecution from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate. By using the App or Site, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.Changes to This Policy
